报告摘要:In topology optimization of multi-material structures, material interface behaviors and uncertain geometrical manufacturing imperfections, are often of great significance to ensure the manufacturability or integrity of the structures. For instance, interface uncertainties induced by inter-diffusion or reactions between two different materials may significantly deteriorate the actual performance of the structure. We proposed a novel velocity field level set method (VL-LSM), which enables a topology optimization problem with multiple constraints to be solved with a general mathematical programming algorithm. Therein, general design variables can be considered in the optimization model, and the shape derivatives of the structural response are used to advance the evolution of the level set functions through the Hamilton-Jacobi equation. We have extended this method to manufacturability- and interfacial strength-constrained topological design of structures composed of multiple material phases (or microstructures) and multiple embedded components. We developed a new level set-based implicit description model for modelling geometrical uncertainties arising from manufacturing errors. In particular, this model can mimic topological defects often exhibited by micro-size fabrication, which may result in breakage of load transmission paths of the optimized designs. Such a model is then combined with the uncertainty quantification techniques and employed in robust topology optimization considering random manufacturing errors. We also studied robust design of multi-material structures under uncertainty of graded interfacial properties. Our recent studies on topology optimization of micro-structured composite materials and structures will also be presented, including design of mechanical metamaterials, graded lattice material structures and hierarchical structures with porous infill materials.
报告人简介:亢战,1970年7月生,大连理工大学教授,国家杰出青年基金获得者,长江学者特聘教授,国家万人计划领军人才。先后主持重点项目、重大研究计划项目等国家自然科学基金项目8项、973课题1项。 发表期刊论文115篇,SCI收录90篇,ESI高被引论文3篇,英文专著1部。SCI他引1600余次。在不确定结构分析与优化、结构拓扑优化等前沿方向的理论与方法研究得到多位国际著名学者的正面评价,并引发了国际同行的一批后续研究与应用。担任ASCE-ASME Journal of Risk and Uncertainty in Engineering Systems Part A: Civil Engineering; Part B: Mechanical Engineering、固体力学学报、计算力学学报等期刊编委。负责完成航空航天、国防、高速列车等领域数项工程应用项目。获2013年度高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖(科学技术)自然科学一等奖(第一完成人)。
